What is your refound/cancellation/reschedule policy?

If you wish to cancel an appointment, in order to receive a full refund of your deposit, you will need to give us at least 72 hours notice before the previously arranged appointment. If you wish to change the date of your appointment, the time limit for changing the date is exactly the same.

You will also lose the total amount of your deposit in case of:

  • You do not show up on the day of your appointment.
  • If you arrive more than 30 minutes late.(Without prior notice).
  • You arrive at your appointment under the influence of alcohol or drugs.(In this case the tattoo cannot be done on that day, so you will have to change the date and pay a new deposit to book the new appointment)
Could i get to see my design before the appointment?

Normally, and if time permits, I usually send the design 1 or 2 days before the appointment (this is usually just the line work without any colour), in case anything needs to be modified.

If that doesn't happen, you will see your design on the day of your tattoo appointment and if anything needs to be modified, we will do it right then and there.

As I'm just one person working and organising everything myself,I ask for your patience, I will get back to you as soon as possible.

How should i prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Although it may not seem like it, having a good preparation for your tattoo can help you and me a lot so that on the day of your appointment everything goes perfectly!

Here are some of the steps to follow that I always recommend:

  • During the week before your appointment, moisturise the area where the tattoo is going to be done once a day (any moisturiser that works well for you).
  • Rest well during the night before your appointment.
  • Take a shower before coming to your appointment, and do not use any more moisturiser on the tattoo area that day.
  • Eat a good breakfast (Normally my tattoo sessions take time as they are large colour pieces).
  • Bring a snack or soft drink with you, this will help you stay well during the session.
  • Wear comfortable clothes, depending on the area you are going to get tattooed I advise you to adapt your clothing e.g. if you are going to get a tattoo on your upper arm, wear a tank top etc.
  • Do not use anaesthetic creams, as in my experience, they are usually quite problematic during the session and even the days after.
How do i care for my new tattoo?

The tattoo healing process may vary or have specific indications depending on your skin type, the area where you got the tattoo, etc.
I will give you the indications that I recommend you to follow for you personally on the day we finish the tattoo appointment.

This is also the procedure that I normally recommend:

You will go home with your tattoo covered, I normally use a soaker for the first day, to protect your tattoo and keep it dry and clean by absorbing all the blood and plasma that it may expel during the following hours, keep that soaker on all day, until the morning of the next day.

The next morning, remove the soaker carefully, if you notice that it is a bit stuck, just wet it a bit and remove it carefully (I recommend doing this in the shower).

Once removed, do not touch your new tattoo without washing your hands first.

Once you have washed your hands, remove any remaining plasma and ink that may remain on the skin with warm water, then put some soap on them and start to clean them gently and in circular movements (the soap I normally recommend to use in Sanex 0% or a normal antibacterial soap without any scent), now remove the soap again with lukewarm water, try not to stay too long with your skin in contact with the water.

Then gently pat your tattoo dry with a clean kitchen towel (do not press or rub your tattoo with the towel).

Now just let it dry completely on its own, and repeat the same cleaning process at night a little before you go to sleep to give the skin time to dry. (If you notice that your tattoo is still oozing, use the second soaker that I will provide you with and spend the night with it on).

On the second day, remove the soaker if you are wearing it and repeat the same cleaning process, and repeat it again at night.

You should continue to do this for 3/4 days after your tattoo session.

After the fourth day, your skin will start to look a little dry and feel quite tight, at this point after drying you can start to add some cream, I usually recommend a small amount of moisturiser for the whole day, so you should only moisturise with the cream once a day.

Repeat this process until the healing time is finished, this is usually 2 weeks.

Precautions you need to take:

  • Never immerse your tattoo in water for a long period of time during the healing process, avoid bathing, swimming, etc.
  • Do not sunbathe or expose your skin to the sun in tanning salons or anything like that.
  • Do not scratch your tattoo, do not pick at small scabs that may come off, let them fall off by themselves or during the cleaning process.
  • Try to wear loose fitting clothing during the healing process as you don't want the clothing to cause chafing to your skin.
  • Beware of dirt, dust or animals around you, try to protect your tattoo if you are working in an environment that could lead to infection.

Never over moisturise your tattoo, as this can over-soften the skin and create problems during the healing process.
